Renault is taking advantage of the IAA Transportation 2022 show in Hanover to present its latest electrified novelties in the utility vehicle segment.
Four years after its first edition, the salon IAA Transportation dedicated to commercial vehicles opens its doors this week at Hanoverfrom September 20 to 25, 2022. The opportunity for Renault to present on its stand its expertise in electrification applied to utility vehicles.
Renault has been the pioneer in this segment for around ten years, with the launch of the 100% electric Kangoo, which won theInternational Van Of The Year 2011. The largest Renault Master has also been marketed in a 100% electric version for more than five years.
The French firm presents on this occasion the new Renault Trafic Van E-Tech Electricthe first electrified version of its bestseller: it is based on the thermal version and makes no compromises, with two lengths (5.08 m and 5.48 m) and two heights (1.967 m and 2.498 m), as well that a loading volume ranging from 5.8 m3 at 8.9 m3.
Under the hood, hides a 120 horsepower (90 kW) electric motor, coupled to a 52 kWh battery allowing a range of up to 240 km according to the WLTP protocol. For recharging, the Trafic Van E-Tech Electric offers three chargers, a single-phase 7 kW AC charger, a 22 kW AC charger and an optional 50 kW DC charger allowing the fastest recharging: Renault announces a 50-minute charge for increase to 15 to 80% capacity.

Announced a few weeks ago, the Renault Hippie Caviar Motel is a van concept designed for outdoor adventures, with recycled and recyclable materials, as well as clever storage to accommodate sports equipment. It is revealed in its entirety at the Hanover show, based on a Kangoo L2 E-Tech Electric.
It also has a bench seat that can be converted into a bed at the stage, while its 100% electric motor of 120 horsepower is associated with a 45 kWh battery offering 285 km range and capable of being recharged with DC 80 kW: Renault announces 30 minutes of fast charging to regain 170 km of autonomy.

Goodthe joint venture between Renault and Plug Power, is also presenting at the 2022 Hanover Motor Show all of its range of hydrogen fueled utility vehicles : the Master Van H2-Tech, a specific version of the Master City Bus H2-Tech, a Master Chassis Cabin H2-Tech, not to mention H2 charging station and fuel cell prototypes.
Hyvia continues to expand and has teamed up with prestigious partners to test the Master Van H2-Tech: Chronopost, Engie, Orange and Equans, not forgetting Hamburger Hafen und Logistik, Packeta, and Maximator Hydrogen in Germany. The Master City Bus H2-Tech also serves its first customers: RATP Dev, BE Green, Milla, and Stroomlijn.
