Mercedes EQE SUV: here is the new electric SUV

The Mercedes EQ range of 100% electric models is expanding with the presentation of the EQE SUV, a new electric SUV offering up to 590 km of autonomy.

On the same model as the EQS which is available as an EQS SUV, here is the Mercedes EQE SUV, the family version of the EQE electric sedan. The model is 4.86 meters long, 9 cm less than the sedan, as well as 1.94 meters wide (+ 3 cm) and 1.69 meters high (+ 6 cm), all with a wheelbase of 3.03 meters (- 9 cm).

The model sports a style similar to the other members of the EQ family, with particularly fluid lines, which are distinguished by marked wheel arches, or even flush and retractable door handles. The AMG models have a more sporty look, with a grille with vertical chrome bars, specific rims and wheel arches painted in body color. As an option, you can also opt for side steps, to accentuate the adventurous aspect of the model.

Inside, we also find the same atmosphere as on the rest of the EQ models, with the impressive dashboard called MBUX Hyperscreen (optional): a black slab extending over the entire width of the passenger compartment, and which carries no less than three screens. In front of the driver, a 12.3-inch screen acts as an instrument cluster, while a second 12.3-inch screen, this time touchscreen, faces the front passenger. The third screen, 17.7 inches diagonally, is located in the central part and incorporates all the functionalities of the MBUX system.

There are also turbine-shaped air vents, comfortable enveloping seats, a three-part folding bench seat, as well as a heat pump to recover the heat emitted by the engine and heat the passenger compartment. On the boot side, the volume is displayed at 520 litersand can reach up to 1,675 liters once the rear seats are folded down.
