In the English Channel, a motorcyclist was flashed at the speed of 122 km / h. Except that his motorcycle is theoretically limited to only 45 km / h.
Speed checks are completely banana operations for law enforcement. And in most cases, not much happens, except for a few minor speeding offenses that don’t even require an arrest. The radar then takes care of sending the report to the offender alone. But it sometimes happens that more unusual things happen, like very big excesses, often having surprising justifications, like this driver being afraid of missing the signature of his CDI. He will eventually end up in prison, after testing positive for narcotics. But the story we are going to tell you today is also quite unusual, as you will see below!
The reflection continues on the project of no longer deducting points from the driving license of motorists guilty of minor speeding! https://t.co/w2bQX7OYx4

This took place on Thursday, November 10, but was only revealed a few days later on the Facebook page of the Channel Gendarmerie. That day, the gendarmes carried out speed checks on the D 975 departmental road in the commune of Parc in the Manche department. Everything is going normally. But at one point, the soldiers of the platoon flash a motorcycle which then circulates at the speed of 122 km/h, on a road where the limit is 80 km/h. On Facebook, the gendarmerie also points out that the driver ” cheerfully overtook cars and trucks“. Neither one nor two, the Alpine A110 sets off in pursuit and intercepts it shortly after. And there, the police will not be disappointed!

Indeed, the gendarmes discover that the motorcycle in question, displaying a displacement of only 49.9 cm3 is not at all designed to reach such a speed. Indeed, it is clamped to only 45 km/h and has therefore been extensively modified by the driver. The latter was therefore sentenced to a heavy fine for his speeding, but not only. He must indeed also bring his vehicle back into conformity, which has for the moment been immobilized.
Sometimes, it happens that a radar flashes a motorist in excess of speed, without this one receiving the PV! https://t.co/eNzBECUAIE ?utm_campaign=post-auto&utm_medium=twitter
