Suzuki S-Cross: a Municipal Police version of the hybrid SUV

The Japanese manufacturer is expanding its range for professionals, with the arrival of a Municipal Police version of its Suzuki S-Cross hybrid SUV.

Sales to Suzuki professionals are on the rise, and now represent more than 20% of the Japanese brand’s deliveries in France. This is a strategic segment that is growing strongly at Suzuki, thanks to its latest hybrid models as well as its products designed for professionals, such as the utility Suzuki S-Cross Hybrid, models intended for driving schools, or vehicles designed for French Municipal Police officers, including the Jimny VU, the Vitara Hybrid and the new S-Cross Hybrid.

In detail, over the first ten months of 2022, the sales to professionals represented 20.5% of deliveries of new vehicles from Suzuki France: this is a record figure, which greatly exceeds the 15% target set by the director of the Automotive Activity, Stéphane Magnin, as part of a strategic plan to make companies and administrations an important area of development for the French market.

Suzuki: an increase in sales to professionals

Indeed, in recent years, Suzuki has developed its sales to companies and administrations, a market with great potential. The brand’s range of hybrid vehicles represents a major asset for professionals, who are increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, but also to more reasonable fuel consumption and competitive prices.

The 100% hybrid range of Suzuki passenger cars reduces the fuel budget of professionals, while benefiting from total or partial exemption from TVS (Company Vehicle Tax), depending on the model. The firm has also worked on its pricing positioning, with holding costs and competitive rents.
