Alfa Romeo: a first teaser for the 6C?

Alfa Romeo has unveiled a clip to wish a happy new year 2023 to all its fans. But, at the very end of the video, a small clue gives us a glimpse of a future sports car that could well be the 6C!

The Italian brand wastes no time. Posted on December 30, Alfa Romeo posted a rather classic video if you look at this one at a quick glance. But in this one hides a small clue about a future very high-end model…

A thrilling and exciting 2023 and… a hint!

The clip in question is very short. Only 13 seconds long, it is enough to show a lot if we analyze each image. In the words used by the brand, the year 2023 will be ” thrilling, visceral and emotional“. You can see pictures of the new Tonalan SUV released last year, as well as Giulia et Stelvio recently restyled.

In a jerky rhythm, the clip connects furtive images then indicates the text “ Are you ready ? : We are. » (Are you ready ? we are). But in a final movement, the letter e changes shape to take on the silhouette of a rear light of an as yet unknown model…

Here is the clip in question:

A future Alfa Romeo 6C in preparation?

If we take a freeze frame on the LED rear light, we also note another peculiarity. In fact, the whole looks like a 6 and a Cwhich suggests a possible future Alfa Romeo 6C for this year !

Even if nothing is confirmed, this announcement will agree with the comments made by the current boss of the brand to our English colleagues last year. Indeed, Jean-Philippe Imparato had confirmed that an exclusive model would be included and would be offered at a very high price at the same time…

Which models will no longer be produced in 2023?

For the moment, nothing more to get your teeth into regarding this future very high-end sports car from the transalpine manufacturer. However, if other manufacturers are launching many electric models, it is difficult to imagine the Italian brand coming to integrate batteries in such a vehicle.

On the other hand, there is a good chance that it will be the last model integrating a combustion engine house before the brand goes all-electric in 2027.
