At the beginning of 2023, the government rebate ended, leading to an increase in fuel prices. E85 is not spared from this situation.
Since January 1, the price which is displayed at the gas station is what you are genuinely going payer.
The government rebate has indeed ended at the end of the year 2022. Since mid-November, it has been 10 cents per litre.
This end of the rebate undoubtedly causes an increase prices at the pump. And this increase spares no fuel.
This is also the case of l’E85. Indeed, super-ethanol sees its liter to go past the symbolic euro. This is the first time that this fuel has such a high price.
One March 2022, l’E85 had already flirted with the euro, but never surpassed it. But thanks to the help of the state since the beginning of the war, the price of E85 could be constantly stabilized.
Now that the aid is over, the price of super-ethanol continues to climb. This coincides with other increases in petrol stations.
To be precise, we find in particular the price of a liter of E85 at 1,09 €. A situation which, however, only concerns the Landes, but which risks generalize to the whole of France.

A situation in total contradiction with what we could to regain at the very beginning of the year 2022. As a reminder, the liter was at the time of 75 cents.
In un anthe increase in this fuel is therefore significant but it remains always less than what is found for fuel more “classic”.
For comparison, the SP95 E10 averages 1,80 € the liter. Anyway, the fuel budget motorists risk of further increasing over of the next few months.
In the context of a strong general rise in prices at the start of 2023, the price of #Superethanol #E85 increased, like that of other fuels, but the difference compared to gasoline remains significant. The E85 remains financially interesting.?⛽️ #Bioethanolhttps://t.co/CfxI2PYMEJ
