When you buy a new car, you usually spend a large amount of money. And it is therefore important to make sure that everything is going well and that the car is perfectly suited to our needs and desires. In addition, it is also essential to consider reliability and see if there are remedies in the event of failure. This is what the manufacturer’s warranty, which must last in Europe for at least two years. However, some brands do much better, going up to seven years. This is particularly the case for Kia and Ferrari, among others. But other manufacturers are following suit.

This is precisely the case with Mazda. The Japanese firm has always been a little above what most brands offer, with a three-year or 100,000 kilometer warranty. A way to convince buyers, but also to prove to them the reliability of their cars. Because taking charge of repairs following a breakdown is obviously very expensive for a manufacturer. But as we know, the vehicles of the Japanese firm have always been renowned for their great solidity, especially mechanically. This is why it now offers the guaranteed for 6 years or 150,000 kilometers since January 1st.

With this new announcement, Mazda undoubtedly hopes to attract new customers and increase its sales, thus grabbing some market places from its competitors. Especially since the firm has a well-developed range with compacts and SUVs, from the Mazda 3 to the plug-in hybrid CX-60, passing of course by the mythical MX-5 and the MX-30 electric SUV. It remains to be seen whether this announcement will have the desired effect on registrations of the brand, which is lagging behind certain competitors.
