Bugatti does not know the crisis: the French manufacturer published record sales figures in 2022, with no less than 80 copies delivered to their customers.
The transition to the new year 2023 is an opportunity for car manufacturers to take stock of their trade statistics for the past year. On the side of home Bugattithe Molsheim builder recorded the delivery of no less than 80 new cars in the world in 2022: even if it may seem quite modest at first glance, it is abouta record figure throughout the history of the brand!
Knowing that each copy is assembled by hand in the Alsatian workshops of Bugatti, and above all entirely configured and made to measure according to the wishes and sometimes dubious tastes of customers, as evidenced by these two recent copies of the Bugatti Chiron, it is in quite a remarkable performance.
Among the 80 examples of Bugatti manufactured in 2022, the firm notably delivered the 400th Bugatti Chironthem last nine Chiron Super Sport 300+them ten copies of the Centodiecior even the latest Chiron and Chiron Sport intended for the European market, with the three examples of Bugatti Chiron L’Ébé.
In the summer of 2022, the W16 Mistral was unveiled during Monterey Car Week: the roadster will be the brand’s latest model powered by the famous 1,600 horsepower W16 engine. Even before its official presentation, all 99 copies had already been sold.
Faced with the demand of its wealthy customers who do not want to wait, the Molsheim firm has also developed a used vehicle program baptized “Bugatti Certified Pre-Owned”. Second-hand vehicles are marketed worldwide and come with official Bugatti certification, offering their customers total peace of mind.
In fact, vehicles are subject to a 110-point fine-tuning, certifying their condition, which must comply with Bugatti standards. The “Tranquility Passport” program also offers Veyron and Chiron owners an upkeep and maintenance service, and has been very successful.
