The popular E85

This one is in fact made from 85% ethanol, which considerably reduces its price per litre. Moreover, it is also less taxed. As a result, it has now been very successful for several months. Indeed, according to a report by the Bioethanol Collective, the consumption of this fuel has increased by 83% over the last year compared to 2021. Today, E85 occupies a market share of 6.5%compared to 4% in 2021. A very nice increase for this alternative.

This enthusiasm for this cheaper and cleaner fuel is rather recent, since half of motorists driving with it have been doing so for less than a year.
