This year, the 47^th edition of Retromobile lounge will open its doors to the public from Wednesday 1^is to Sunday February 5, 2023, at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris.

The opportunity to discover many old and collectible models, including the stand Renaultn°1F072 located in hall n°1, which will pay homage to the brand’s iconic vehicles, with no less than 11 historic vehicles present in 600 m² of exhibition space.

Renault at Rétromobile 2023: the Twingo is celebrating its 30th anniversary!

Visitors will be invited to discover, in the first part of the stand, several copies of the Renault Twingo of the first generation, to celebrate its 30^th birthday. Launched in 1993, the Twingo I has since sold more than 2.4 million units.

On the Renault stand, you can find different versions that have marked its history, such as one of the very first Twingo from 1993, a Twingo Lecoq from 1995, a Twingo Coupe from 1995, a Twingo Benetton from 1996 and a Twingo from 2004.

Renault at Rétromobile 2023: electric models in the spotlight

A second zone, called “The Originals Renault Garage”, will allow you to discover three old models equipped with a 100% electric retrofit kit : a Renault 4, a Renault 5 as well as a revisited Twingo which will be exhibited for the first time, inspired by Californian lowriders.

You will also find there the concept-cars Renault R5 Turbo 3E and Suite N°4, but also an astonishing show-car project, baptized “Mute the hot rod” and based on a 1924 Renault Type MT: it is a model inspired by the fashion of speed records and the hot rod of the 1940s, equipped with an electric traction chain.

Renault at Rétromobile 2023: many events

The Renault stand will highlight the“Reinvent Twingo” operation, which invites the public to bring a new concept based on the Twingo to life, thanks to artificial intelligence. Renault will then give life to a show car directly based on the creations of the public.

The public will also discover The Originals Renault Serviceswhich aim to simplify administrative procedures for collectors Renault vehicles (more than 30 years old): on site, those interested can benefit from advice and personalized support. As with each edition of Rétromobile, visitors will also be able to acquire products derived from the brand in a shop baptized “The Originals Renault Store”.
