Wuling Bingo: the Chinese city car that looks like a motorhome!

Chinese manufacturers are massively investing in the electric car market. The Wuling Bingo stands out with all of its accessories.

It’s no secret: chinese manufacturers attempt to invest massively in the electric car market in Europe.

This has been the case since now a few yearswhich leads us to have new models to disposition.

This is the case of Wuling Bingo. Small and cheap, this city car also stands out for the great diversity in its accessories.

A different approach

After the Hongguang Mini EV, the Chinese manufacturer Wuling, presented a new city car 100% electric.

This model will attempt an approach which is not very popular in China. 3.95 meters long, 1.71 meters wide and 1.58 meters high, all with 2.56 meters wheelbasethe Wuling Bingo sports a neo-retro design, with rounded lines, oval lightsrims in childish style, as well as a silhouette of a city car five doors.

Son but : become the car the most versatile of the market with a certain family vocation.

Multiple accessories

So you have to go to inside of the cockpit to realize all possibilities of this car.

Several accessories are offered and allow the use at most the large trunk capacity. It almost feels like a camper.

Electric car at €100 per month: which models are eligible?

Two versions available

Under the hood we find 100% electric motorization which is available in two versions: a first of 41 horses (30 kW) and 110 Nm of torque, combined with a lithium ion battery of 17.3 kWh, offering a range of up to up to 203 km.

The second offers a power of 68 horsepower (50 kW) and 150 Nm of torque, and is associated with a 31.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a range of up to up to 333 km. The maximum speed is limited to 100 km/h for two models.

Launched at the end of March in China, Wuling Bingo is marketed at a price of around 70,000 to 100,000 yuan depending on the version, i.e. the equivalent of approximately 9,600 to 13,700 euros.

But if it were to be marketed in Europe, it would rather be necessary to count an entrance fee around 15.000 euros : however, no launch date on the Old Continent has been announced yet.
