Audi will present no less than 20 new products over the next two years, the majority of which will be electric cars.
If, in recent months, the product news around Audi has been strangely calm, it should not last. Indeed, during a press conference, among a litany of financial information, some clues about the future of the manufacturer were cleverly concealed.
It’s no secret, Audi no longer plans to present new cars with a combustion engine from 2026. But in the meantime, within the next two years, the German brand is “about to launch the biggest product initiative” in its long history, said its boss, Markus Duesmann.
Markus Duesmann backed it up by saying that Audi “will have launched about 20 new models” by 2025. More than half of the models will be electric according to the manager’s statements.
As often, among these 20 models, these are not 20 real new products, strictly speaking. There will be new versions with new engines of already existing products, but also restylings of products that we already know.
As part of this vast offensive, Markus Duesmann took advantage of the conference to discuss one of these new models, an entry-level electric model that would be below the Q4 e-tron.
For the moment, we do not have any details, but our British colleagues fromAutocar think it will be a compact model, equipped with a hatchback, and similar in size to an Audi A3.

The manufacturer with the rings has also announced many new products with the “Sphere” concept cars presented in recent months. They announce, among other things, the arrival of an Audi A6 e-tron within the next few months, but also of the future electric A8.
This year, Audi will also present a new model, with the Q6 e-tron, a model closely linked technically to the future 100% electric Porsche Macan.
