Buying a Porsche is often the dream of a lifetime for many motorists. Who never said as a child ” When I grow up, I will have a Porsche” ? All enthusiasts would like to one day be able to drive a 911, which for many decades has been one of the most legendary cars in the world. But the models of the Stuttgart brand are obviously very expensive and are not within the reach of all budgets. For memory, the least expensive model costs €60,946. And unfortunately for all those who would like to have one later, it is not going to improve. The opposite should even happen.

A price increase

Indeed, and as stated by the brand’s finance boss, Lutz Meschke, the price of Porsches should increase considerably in the coming months. The latter indeed explains that the manufacturer will “ make significant price increases from mid-2023 to maintain our margins“. Unlike Tesla, the German firm therefore does not want to lower its prices to attract customers. To tell the truth, does she really need it anyway? Its objective is therefore rather toincrease profits for a year 2023 which promises to be demanding.

Burning Electrics

For the record, Porsche sold no less than 309,884 vehicles in 2022, an increase of 2.6% compared to 2021.
