The Japanese manufacturer presents the Honda e:Ny1, the 100% electric version of the HR-V, which is the second electric model in its range after the Honda e.
Prefigured in China by the Honda e:NP1 and e:NS1, the new Honda e:Ny1 is the 100% electric version of the HR-V, which is already shaping up to be the brand’s best-seller in France.

The second 100% electric model in the range, after the Honda e, this 100% electric B-segment urban SUV is based on the new e:N Architecture F platformwhich combines a high-rigidity body, a low center of gravity and optimized floor aerodynamics, to guarantee a fun and reassuring ride.
Its sleek styling is distinguished by its short front overhang, flared wheel arches, wide tracks, and concealed rear door handles. The e:Ny1 also embeds the Honda’s new brand identity, with its new “H” logos that can be found on the front face, the rims or the steering wheel. At the rear, the “Honda” lettering on the tailgate is made with a new, more modern font, which will be found on the brand’s future electric vehicles.
On board the e:Ny1, the Japanese firm promises spaciousness and comfort. The new center console features control buttons placed within easy reach, storage and an induction charger for smartphones, while the streamlined dashboard highlights a large 15.1-inch vertical touchscreen in its center. This allows you to control Honda’s new infotainment system, while setting the various driving options.

Under the hood, there is an electric motor with a maximum power of 204 horsepower (150kW) for 310 Nm of torque, which promises smooth and comfortable acceleration and deceleration. Under the floor, hides a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 68.8 kWhoffering up to 412 km range (according to the WLTP cycle), and compatible with the fast charging of 78 kW DC, recovering from 10 to 80% capacity in just 45 minutes. In alternating current, the charging power remains capped at 11 kW.
The chassis of the Honda e:Ny1 is exclusively developed for electric vehicles, and guarantees better torsional rigidity, thanks to the use of high-strength steel, which constitutes no less than 47% of the total weight of the e:Ny1 .
The new Honda e:Ny1 will be released during thesummer 2023 in Europe, at rates to be announced later. The first deliveries are expected next fall.
