This small electric car, cousin of the Citroën Ami and other Renault Twizy, will arrive in the coming months and will cost around 10,000 euros.
The Citroën Ami and Renault Twizy will soon have company. Contrary to what one might think, it is not Chinese, but Scandinavian. Her name is Luvly 0 and will be produced by the Swedish start-up of the same name, founded just a few months ago.
Rather than “produced”, it would be better to say “designed”, because the 0 will not be delivered already assembled to customers. In effect, the car is designed to be transported in several piecesthen built by specialized centers thereafter.
This choice is due to purely logistical reasons. According to the company, parts and components for 250 cars can be stored in a conventional shipping container, while if the cars were already assembled, the space would only be enough for 20 models. Obviously, the car being a kit, it requires some compromises in terms of styling.
Squarer and, in a way, more spartan (at least in appearance) than the Ami and the Twizy, the Luvly 0 is 2.7 meters long, 1.53 meters wide and 1.44 meters high . It still offers a fairly generous trunk with a capacity of 267 liters.

Weighing 380 kg and capable of climbing up to 90 km/h at top speed, the Swedish micro-electric has a battery of 6,4 kWh divided into two removable modules of 15 kg each. The declared consumption is only 6 kWh/100 km for a range of approximately 110 km on a single charge.
Luvly has not yet opened sales outlets in Europe, partly because the car has yet to be approved for the road, but it is already possible to register on the website to order the car.
The base price is 10 000 euros. It’s more expensive than a Citroën Ami (which is already assembled when you receive it), even if the Luvly 0 is more versatile.
