The Danish manufacturer Zenvo has just presented the Aurora, a supercar that can reach 1,850 hp thanks to a V12 and three electric motors.
It is a must in the summer in the automotive world, the Monterey Car Week gives us again this year its share of novelties in terms of extravagant supercars.
This is particularly the case with the new Zenvo Aurora, a Danish supercar equipped with an impressive 6.6-litre quad-turbocharged V12 that can be coupled to three electric motors for a power of 1 850 ch. Impressive values (but more necessarily unusual) which make the Aurora a natural rival of Bugatti and other Koenigseggs.
As often with this kind of supercar, several versions are offered in the catalog. In the case of the Zenvo Aurora, there are the Tur and Agil versions, the latter being mainly track-oriented, the former more for “road” use Each version is limited to 50 copies and production is expected to begin in 2026.
Both versions use the V12 made by Mahle Powertrain, which develops 1,250 hp and reaches 9,800 rpm. The Agil, which is pure propulsion, is equipped with a single electric motor which brings the total power to 1,450 hp and 1,400 Nm of torque. It reaches 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and 200 km/h in 4.6 seconds. The maximum speed is 365 km/h.
The Tur benefits from all-wheel drive and receives two additional electric motors that drive the front wheels. The total power increases to 1 850 hp and 1 700 Nm. In this version, the 0 to 100 km/h requires 2.3 secondswhile the maximum speed is 450 km/h.
Both versions are equipped with a seven-speed gearbox. The transmission is equipped with an electric motor that intervenes in reverse and also serves as a starter for the powertrain. Zenvo didn’t give battery details, but we know the Agil weighs less than 1 300 kgwhile the Tur weighs 150 kg more.
As you can see from the photos, aesthetically the car is quite impressive, with a very sharp design and some visible parts showing the suspensions.
Zenvo doesn’t give many details about the Aurora’s interior, although photos confirm the presence of a small infotainment screen and a digital instrument panel. There is certainly a plethora of driver assistance systems and driving modes.
If you are interested in a Zenvo Aurora, you will have to pay the trifle of 2.6 million euros, roughly in the same waters as the Bugatti Chiron and the Koenigsegg Jesko. At this price, not all models are sold yet of course.
