A Zonda Pagani valued at more than 10 million euros crashes

This Zonda Pagani is in a deplorable state after a road accident. It was a unique model.

This Zonda Pay 760 came to a very sad end. The Italian sportswoman was the victim of a serious road accident in a tunnel in the United Kingdom. And she didn’t come out unscathed. She suffered significant damage, which is likely to be the best of her forever if she is not the subject ofan expensive restoration.

The driver is not in danger. The condition of the car, on the other hand, was made visible thanks to an Instagrammer, Ethan Gale, who posted the photos of the accident on his account. These shots must hurt the hearts of most car enthusiasts, given value and rarity of the damaged model.

A valuable Zonda Pagani ends its life in a road accident

The supercar victim of the accident is a Pagani Zonda 760 which belonged to the famous pilot Lewis Hamilton. Moreover, his memory was forever inscribed on one of the fenders of the car, where the name « Lewis Hamilton » had been marked. So it was a one-of-a-kind Zonda… and extremely expensive.

According to Carscoops, this unique Pagani model was acquired by the F1 driver in 2014. It was manufactured by the Italian manufacturer to order, and designed according to the sportsman’s requests. Painted with a Violet colourthe body also contained several carbon fiber elements.

A 10 million euro car

In terms of performance, this Zonda Pagani developed no less than 750 horsepower thanks to a reinforced 7.3-liter V12 engine. Lewis Hamilton parted ways with it in 2021, when he sold it to an undisclosed Briton. The sale price had reached an insane sum. While the pilot had acquired it for 1.8 million euros, it was sold for 10 million euros.

Today, unfortunately, not much remains. Photos posted by photographer Ethan Gale show how badly it was damaged. The nature of the accident explains this deplorable state: it is bumped into a wall high speed. Obviously, this accident should not surprise Lewis Hamilton. He had, in fact, declared that his Zonda was “terrible to drive”.
