Holidays: she takes the wrong pedal… and falls into the lake!

Friends had planned to spend their holidays at a campsite. On the other hand, they did not think they would end up in a lake with their car.

The holidays started very badly for this young woman. With three of her friends, she decided to go to Isère. Contrary to many French summer visitors, they obviously did not want to spend their summer on the beaches of Brittany or the south of France. For them, holidays rhyme with camping.

However, the little getaway of these four friends in Isère did not go as they imagined. If they did reach the campsite they had chosen (the Au Pré du Lac campsite), they faced a unfortunate incident on arrival. Above all, the car they used may no longer work…

The story took place on the night of August 11 to 12, in a campsite in the south of Grenoble. The car journey to reach the place went smoothly, and the four friends found the manager of the campsite where they had decided to spend their holidays. The latter then tells them where to set up their tent.

However, the way to get there is not easy to access by car. The manager then tells them how to go about it. They engage with their car, but nothing has gone well. Shortly after, they found themselves in Lake Laffrey with their vehicle sinking into the water.

A pedal problem

As reported Actu.frit was necessary to perform a reverse gear with the car to access the camping site. However, this maneuver also had to be carried out a little too close to Lake Laffrey. For some reason that has not been publicly disclosed, the driver got her brushes tangled up and pressed the accelerator pedal instead of braking.

The young woman apparently did not have time to catch up on her mistake. She drove into the lake with her vehicle and her three friends inside. Fortunately, no one was hurt. On the other hand, young women are very embarrassed. “They weren’t drunk, it’s really clumsy and they’re really confused”assured the manager of the campsite.
