Kia EV6 Limited Edition: a special edition in Monterey

On the occasion of Monterey Car Week held a few days ago, the Korean manufacturer presented the new Kia EV6 Limited Editiona special series that celebrates obtaining its 2023 “Utility Vehicle of the Year” (SUV of the Year) award in North America, delivered by the NACTOY (North American Car, Truck and utility Of the Year).

“With the Limited Edition Kia EV6, North American SUV of the Year, we have created a continued testament to the tremendous achievement of the EV6 in this year’s 2023 NACTOY competition”said Steven Center, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Kia America.

Kia EV6 Limited Edition: an American special series

In January 2023, the all-electric Kia EV6 was indeed recognized for its excellence in categories such as automotive innovation, design and value by the NACTOY jury, made up of 50 automotive experts from the written press, digital, radio and audiovisual media.

The Kia EV6 Limited Edition is distinguished by its style, which is noticed on the outside with a exclusive color to the model: a brilliant green “Deep Forest Green” embellished with chrome strips, which pays homage to the style combinations of classic sports vehicles. Elements painted in black, such as the wheel arch mouldings, the side skirts or the front and rear inserts, complete its exterior design.

Inside, there is a specific filling in the color “Desert Beige”, completed by a exclusive metal platelocated on the center console next to the gear selector, on which we find the inscription “EV6 Limited Edition”, the teaser silhouette of the EV6, as well as two NACTOY medallions “North American 2023 Utility Vehicle of the Year”.

Only 1,000 copies

The Kia EV6 Limited Edition features a 77.4 kWh batteryas well as the electric motorization of 325 horsepowercombining a 100 horsepower front engine and a 225 horsepower rear engine, all providing four-wheel drive.

On the equipment side, there are standard 20-inch alloy wheels, sunroof, augmented reality head-up display, panoramic camera, blind spot monitoring, heated rear seats and steering wheel, assistance with forward collision avoidance, or highway driving assistance.

The Kia EV6 Limited Edition will go on sale at the end of 2023, at prices to be announced later, and will be reserved for the United States market only. It will also be produced in limited series of only 1,000 copies.
