Fisker Alaska: first details on the electric pickup

The American manufacturer is unveiling the first details of its new Fisker Alaska electric pickup, which will be launched in 2025 at a price of around €41,900.

At the beginning of August 2023, Fisker held a conference called “Product Vision Day”, during which no less than three new 100% electric models were unveiled: the Fisker PEAR compact SUV, the Fisker Ronin roadster, as well as the pickup Fishing Alaskawhich is already shaping up to be the most durable pickup in the world.

Pending its launch, scheduled for first quarter 2025 at a price starting from 45,400 dollars, the equivalent of approximately 41.900 €the American electric car manufacturer reveals more details about the Fisker Alaska.

Fisker Alaska: a modular skip

To differentiate itself from its competitors, the Fisker Alaska has a cargo bed at the back, which has the particularity of being modular : indeed, it was designed to extend from 1.37 meters to 2.29 meters, thanks to a partition located behind the rear seats, which can be lowered electronically. With the power tailgate lowered and the rear seats lowered, the bed can even extend to 2.80 meters. When the rear seats are folded down and the movable partition is lowered, the rear seats are protected by folding panels, including a folding panel located behind the front seats.

The vehicle will span 5.3 meters longand will have the largest cup holder in the worlddesigned to accommodate an American “Big Gulp” XXL-format tumbler, a cowboy hat holder in the stern, storage space in the cockpit for work gloves, a large central armrest with storage space for lamps pocket and pens, as well as a tray with a tablet for the front passenger.

Fisker also aims to make the Fisker Alaska the lightest electric pickup in the world, and to provide additional storage space in an insulated front trunk. On the personalization side, in addition to the flamboyant orange color of the launch photos, customers can opt for alloy wheels ranging from 20 to 22 inches.

Two electric battery levels

The Fisker Alaska will be marketed with two levels of batteries: 75 kWh et 113 kWhwhich will respectively make it possible to propose a autonomy of 370 to 550 kmwhile he will be able to swallow the 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 to 7.2 secondsdepending on the version.

The first deliveries of the Fisker Alaska are expected in the first quarter of 2025. Interested customers can already reserve the vehicle on the official website of the American manufacturer, with a deposit of $250.
