Ford update brings Amazon Alexa to Europe

Alexa, for example, allows users to benefit from real-time information, find a route, adjust the cabin temperature, ask Alexa to tell them a joke, or even manage smart home automation features remotely, such as adjusting the temperature or lighting in their home.

This feature is now available through a Ford Power-Up software updatefor vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 and SYNC 4A communication and entertainment systems, such as the latest Ford Mustang Mach-E and Ford Focus.

Dual Phone Pairing is available on the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Focus, Transit and E-Transit.

The on-board applications are also enriched with the unlimited audio streaming application Ford Streaming, or even games accessible when stationary or during an electric recharge: sudoku, puzzle and Lane Change, a driving game.

Ford is also offering a 90-day free trial to listen to music, podcasts and audiobooks on Alexa-enabled platforms, like Amazon Music, Audible, Kindle, and other third-party services.
