Citroën Ami: this unique version does not go unnoticed!

This summer 2023, the British subsidiary of Citroën is organizing an operation called #AmiOnTour : this is a tour of a fleet of Citroën Ami across the United Kingdom, to make it discover to the public in the streets of London, Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Liverpool or Edinburgh.

Across the Channel, low emission zones (Ultra Low Emissions Zones, Clean Air Zones, etc.) are becoming more and more strict, and the French manufacturer wants to take advantage of this opportunity to promote its small electric car which presents itself as a mobility solution bold.

Citroën Ami: the perfect supercar for the city?

In London, it is difficult to find a place among luxury cars and other supercars, which attract attention. The French firm has played on this observation with irony, and presents the Citroën Ami as a “perfect supercar for the city” !

A copy of the small electric quadricycle was covered with a gold chrome wrapand crisscrossed the streets of the English capital, to pose next to the most luxurious cars of Knightsbridge, New Bond Street, Mayfair, or even Park Lane.

Parked alongside some of the most expensive supercars on the market, the Ami has caught the attention of passers-bywho could not help but approach to take a picture.

A UK tour this summer

During this summer of 2023, a fleet made up of 7 units of Citroën Ami will travel the roads of the UK, and will pass through seven cities in just over two weeks. In addition, the unique golden Citroën Ami will be present in this unusual procession. Each of the 7 models will have a wrap in the colors of each city crossed, featuring local monuments and unique urban landscapes.

Throughout this tour, members of the public will have the opportunity to participate in a contest, to win one of these seven copies of the Ami : each winner will receive the model associated with his city. All they have to do is scan one of the contest QR codes, located at the “Ami Hub” stand set up in each city, between 12:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
