Restyled Audi Q8: it will be presented on September 5, 2023

After five years of career, the large coupe SUV is about to receive a mid-career restyling: Audi has just unveiled a first image of the restyled Audi Q8!

Prefigured by the Audi Q8 Concept concept car, presented at the Detroit Motor Show (North American International Auto Show) in 2017, the production Audi Q8 was launched in the fall of 2018, at the Paris Motor Show.

After five years of career, the large SUV coupé with the four rings is about to receive a mid-career restyling, which will be presented at the Munich show on September 5, 2023. To help us wait, Audi has just unveiled a first teaser illustration of theAudi Q8 restyled !

Audi Q8 restyled: cosmetic changes

Seen from the rear, the style of the restyled Audi Q8 only changes very subtly: there is a new light signature, featuring several T-shaped LED segments, highlighted by a red light strip that runs the full width of the stern. A provision that is reminiscent of that of the last restyled Audi A8.

Even if it is still plunged into darkness, the lower part of the rear bumper should also receive a new redesigned skirt, while on the side we can see the presence of new alloy wheels of large diameter. Of new customization possibilitiessuch as new body colors and new upholstery, should also be offered.

The front face has not yet been unveiled by the German manufacturer, but it’s a safe bet that it will adopt a new light signature for the headlights, as well as a redesigned grille.

Little information has been revealed by Audi for the moment, but the interior should not change radically on the occasion of this restyling. The infotainment system could, however, receive a software update bringing new features.

Under the hood of this restyled coupe SUV, we should find an update of the plug-in hybrid engine : currently, two variants are offered: 381 and 462 horsepower, with a range of around 46 km in 100% electric mode. These figures can undoubtedly be improved. The more powerful SQ8 and RS Q8 versions should also be in the game.
