Fisker reveals in more detail the contents of its Force E package intended for certain variants of its Ocean SUV.
Presented for the first time at the same time as the Alaska, Pear and Ronin, the Force E pack of the Fisker Ocean is revealed in more detail. This set of equipment dedicated to being used far from the beaten track may in particular be installed as soon as the vehicle is configured on the internet or ordered after having received a copy. In the latter case, it will then be installed later on an already existing Ocean.
This famous Force E pack notably includes imposing 33-inch all-terrain tires mounted on new 20-inch rims. It is also accompanied by new shock absorbers that increase the ground clearance of the American SUV as well as underbody protection plates to protect it in all circumstances. In addition, it will also be possible to opt for a specific roof rack. Unfortunately, this dedicated adventure set will not be available on all Fisker Ocean…
The Extreme E gear set will initially only be available for the One and Extreme variants. The Ultra version will also be able to benefit from it, but later. It must be said that these 3 versions are the only ones to benefit from two engines and therefore 4-wheel drive. The Extreme variant displays no less than 564 hp and 737 Nm as well as a 0 to 100 km/h timed in just 3.6 seconds. Its two units are powered by an impressive 113 kWh battery, 106.5 of which can be used to give it a WLTP range of 707 km! The One version benefits from the same technical characteristics as well as the same starting price of €69,950 as the variant called Extreme.
After the overpowered and ultra-durable versions of the American SUV have benefited from this Force E pack, it will be the turn of the Ultra variant. Also equipped with two engines to make it benefit from an all-wheel drive, this version is a little less powerful and enduring. It has 540 hp and a range of 610 km despite the presence of the same 113 kWh battery. A version that shoots 0 to 100 km / h in 4.2 s and currently costs a minimum of 57,500 €. Unfortunately, it seems that Fisker has no intention of developing this Force E package for the entry-level Sport version. sending its 275 hp to its front wheels to travel up to 440 km per charge. A variant displayed from 41,900 €.
Along with all the tangible hardware improvements, this Force E Pack also comes with software updates. These should be done remotely and add a specific off-road mode to the system. Dedicated to vehicles equipped with the Force E pack, it will allow vehicles to draw the full potential of the latter. This Force E pack should also be available from the first quarter of 2024, at least in the United States.
