The Baby Bugatti also available in Golden Era

The Bugatti Baby II also benefits from the “Golden Era” treatment and its hand-drawn designs. But unlike her big sister, she displays a one-of-a-kind sketch…

After the Chiron Super Sport and Mistral, it’s the turn of the smallest Bugatti to benefit from the treatment « Golden Era » : the Legendary Baby II. But unlike the cabriolet, which was only dressed in the “Golden” color specially created for the occasion, this Baby received a good part of the designs also applied to the Chiron Super Sport. Naturally, being smaller than the coupé, it could not receive all 45 sketches of its big sister. But just like on the latter, all these sketches were obviously made by hand.

A unique drawing

In order to also have its little “unique” touch, this Baby II received a special design that it alone sports on the rear of its bodywork. It is a sketch of Ettore Bugatti himself accompanied by his youngest son, Roland, aboard the very first Baby. The very car that prompted the brand to relaunch production today.

Up to 45 km/h

Despite its small size, the Baby II Vitesse is one hell of a car. This is actually a ¾ scale replica of the 1924 Type 35 developed not by Bugatti, but by the English specialist The Little Car Company. A company that does not lack experience in the field of replicas on a barely reduced scale. The Baby II Speed does not have any thermal mechanics, but a small 10 kW electric motor, or 14 hp. Well, not that small. It allows him to reach a point speed of 45 km/h! Powered by a 1.4 or 2.8 kWh battery, this little Bugatti can travel around fifteen or thirty kilometres.

A minimum of €80,000!

Just like its two big golden sisters, this Baby II is probably not cheap. let’s remember that each owner of a Bugatti Mistral is offered the possibility of acquiring this “scale model” with the purchase of their roadster with the W16 engine. As was the case for the Chiron Sport and its unique paint, we do not know the price of this mini Type 35. But for information purposes, know what the entrance ticket to the last Baby IIwhose bodywork was entirely made of carbon fiber, amounted to €80,000, excluding taxes!
