Geometry Panda Knight: Geely’s mini electric adventurer

Last year, to ride the wave of electric micro city cars initiated by the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, the Chinese manufacturer Geely launched the Panda Mini EV under its Geometry brand, but integrated into the Geely range.

If you are not fond of the childish look of the Panda Mini EV, Geely has just unveiled a new version of its small electric car, equipped with an adventurer look: the Panda Knight !

Panda Knight: a more adventurous style

Make no mistake about it: despite its style, the Panda Knight has no crossing capacity. But the majority of its customers won’t care, since the latest SUVs and other popular crossovers on the market don’t have them either!

Compared to a basic Panda Mini EV, the Panda Knight has new rims, a front grille with a more robust look, fender and sill extensions in black plastic, plastic shields equipped with yellow hooks, matching handles on the hood, roof bars, a ladder on the side, or even a black plastic roof spoiler at the rear.

Up to 200 km range

Despite its small dimensions, the Panda Knight can accommodate up to 4 passengers on board, with a trunk of up to 800 liters when the rear seats are folded down. We find there a 8-inch infotainment touch screena 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster, air conditioning, or even specific colors and leatherette seat upholstery.

Under the hood of the Geely Panda Knight, there is an electric motor of 41 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. This is powered by a 17 kWh LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery, allowing autonomy of 200 km according to Chinese CLTC homologation cycle.

Its price should be higher than that of the highest version of the Panda Mini EV, which is displayed at 56,900 yuan, the equivalent ofenviron 7.200 €.
