They find love… thanks to Waze!

The Waze application is obviously not just for motorists to know the road conditions. She allowed a love to be born!

L’application Waze is known for its driver assistance system, for its GPS as well as for its various functionalities. On the other hand, no one thought of using it as a dating application one day. Yet that is what more or less happened a few years ago between two men.

Vivian and Enzo, two young men, indeed met via the Waze application in 2019, as reported by BFM TV. They then started A love relationship which turns out to be far from fleeting and light. She is in any case sufficiently serious for them to plan to marry in the course of the month of September.

A meeting thanks to Waze messaging

Apart from its basic features, Waze allows users to chat with each other. Motorists can then talk to each other to anticipate several obstacles or problems on the road. This is a way for Waze users to better to know road conditions and participate in knowing them.

It is thanks to this feature that Vivian and Enzo met, in 2019. The story begins when Vivian takes her car to go to the Var with her best friend and her twin sister. They started using Waze along the way to avoid traffic jams. They discover, at the same time, that they can chat with other motorists.

A wedding planned for September

The meeting takes place near the Lançon-Provence tollbooth, in the Bouches-du-Rhône. Vivian’s car indeed crosses that of a group of four men who signal to them, via Waze messaging, that a traffic light is no longer working. Sympathetic Waze user of this other car invites Vivian, her sister and her friend to have coffee at a gas station.

The current goes well between the two groups, so much so that they agree to meet again during the holidays. Among the four men in that other car was Enzo, who ended up establish a romantic relationship with Vivian. They then began a life together, which has now lasted more than four years. They plan to get married next September.
