An option at €30,000! That’s more than some cars, even electric ones! That said, this system only reserved for the Batur is still composed of no less than 20 3D printed speakers. It also claimed 10,000 development hours.
One thing is certain, the world of luxury and excess is doing well. Just look at the latest unique creations from Rolls-Royce or Bentley to realize this. Precisely, the English brand now offers its customers a slightly unusual option. The manufacturer now has a sound system billed at 25,000 pounds sterling, or nearly €30,000 at the current exchange rate! That’s more than some cars, even electric ones!
baptized Naim for Mulliner, this sound system is the result of a 15-year-old collaboration between the car manufacturer and the Naim brand. Suffice to say that they know what it is in terms of sound. This system also required no less than 10,000 hours of work to be developed! It consists of no less than 20 3D printed speakers. Among them are 6 tweeters, 9 speakers for the mid frequencies, 2 woofers, 2 units dedicated to the lowest frequencies and a subwoofer.
This €30,000 system can only be installed on board the ultra exclusive Others. In other words, only 18 small (and very, very rich) lucky people will be able to enjoy its lens. Installed such equipment in such a car, why not… Although to choose, we prefer to revel in the symphony of the W12 of the English coupe! I have to say that The Batur will be the very last Bentley to take advantage of the brand’s legendary W12. An engine that the manufacturer has also reworked one last time for the occasion.
Under the hood of the Batur hides the legendary 6-litre W12 dear to Bentley. Here it has been pushed up to 750 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque! And to make the most of it, the brand has specially developed a custom-made titanium exhaust, also partly 3D printed. We, it is this symphony that we would prefer to have in our ears. This mechanic is once again exclusively reserved for the Batur. It also makes the model the most powerful Bentley in history! And with a price set at 1.95 million euros each, the Batur is also one of the most expensive models ever marketed by the English manufacturer… But no doubt you can imagine, this price has not put off buyers since the 18 Batur have already all been sold.
