Tesla Model 3: can you modify your current order for the new model?

You order a car and, bad luck, your sales representative failed to tell you that a new version was going to arrive in the coming weeks. In most cases, if the car is not produced, you will be able to automatically benefit from the restyling without even having to contact your dealer.

When it comes to a real new model (what is called a new generation), with sometimes significant price changes and big changes in terms of design and technologies, it can be different by the simple fact that It’s basically a new car.

Tesla chose to keep it simple

The 1^is last September, Tesla presented the long-awaited restyled Model 3. You can find all the news about this model in our dedicated topic. As you can see, aesthetically there have been some changes. And if you want to benefit from it when you have already ordered your new Tesla Model 3, how does it work?

To answer this question, we contacted Tesla France, which did not beat around the bush for long: all pending Tesla Model 3 orders are automatically reverted to the restyled version.

The good deal for orders already placed

And good news for those who ordered the “old” version and have not yet delivered, Tesla will not apply the price increase of the restyled model. Indeed, on the occasion of the presentation of the Highland model, prices have increased by 1,000 euros, from 41,990 euros to 42,990 euros.

Thus, if you have ordered a Tesla Model 3 before the presentation of the restyled version and that you have not yet been delivered, you will benefit from the new model at the price of the old one.
