A British company has tackled the restoration of vintage cars. They will be used for luxury hotels.
A British company, Lunazembarked on a program to restore collectible cars. It has just unveiled a completely redesigned version of the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II. This car from the English manufacturer has, in a way, a strong historical and symbolic value.
She was indeed built in 1960 especially for actress Sophia Lauren. Lunaz took it over not only to restore it, but also to convert it into an electric vehicle. So, unlike other old Rolls-Royces, it’s not a gasoline engine which keeps it going.
At first glance, this Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II benefits from numerous modifications compared to the original version. In short, the British company did not just convert this classic car into an electric vehicle. She was treated to a proper restoration, including the bodywork and of his painting.
The most important part of this project remains, of course, the conversion to electric vehicle. However, the idea is not to stop at this 1960 Rolls-Royce, but also to carry out the same restorations and transformations on other vintage cars. Moreover, Lunaz has already produced an electric Rolls-Royce Phantom before tackling the Silver Cloud II.
