She sails in a premier category in Europe: that of compact sedanspositioned in the C segment. Since its first generation in 2004, la Citroen C4 ensures the supply of rafters in this niche, which has many competitors. Golf, 308, Megane, Astra, i30, Ceed to name only the generalist manufacturers. But if the GS, ZX and Xsara seriously broke the codes at the time, the C4 were discreet, too discreet. For its latest generation in 2020, Citroën has started from scratch. Citroën has equipped it with a wide range of engines. In diesel, the 1.5 BlueHDi develops a choice of 110 or 130 horsepower. In essence it is even larger, with a 1.2 Puretech of 100, 130 or 155 horsepower. Citroën had subsequently introduced an electric variant, called ë-C4. It is offered as a choice of 136 or 156 horsepower. Its battery offers a capacity of 50 kWh or 54 kWh, for ranges of between 360 and 420 kilometres.
Until now, the range of the ë-C4 was organized around three versions: You, Plus and Max. Today, Citroën introduces a new one, dubbed ë-Series. She is visually more chic and opulent than the Max version, displaying black graphics, and a black Perla roof. On board, too, the move upmarket is visible, with a alcantara leather which covers seats assembled at 68% from recycled materials. For the rest, the endowment is the richest currently available. It notably includes heated front seats, and a 10-inch central touch screen integrating the infotainment system My Citroën Drive Plus. Available on C4 (5 doors) and C4 X (4 doors), this finish is billed respectively at 44 000€ et 44 700€.
