This Chinese brand will land in France next year

A new brand from China is about to arrive here in the coming months. We tell you everything.

For some time now, we have been witnessing a veritable invasion of Chinese manufacturers in Europe. We obviously think of MG, which is a hit with its electric compact, to the point of overtaking the Tesla Model 3. But that’s not all, because other brands intend to invade the Old Continent. This is particularly the case of Nio or BYD, which is present during this 2023 edition of the Munich fair, that the editorial staff of Auto Plus was able to discover. But other firms also wanted to have the right to their share of the cake. And among them, one in particular which is about to arrive in our region, starting next year.

An arrival in 2024

But then, who is it? Well we are talking here about Xpeng, a young Chinese brand which is in fact already present in some European countries, including the Netherlands, Sweden as well as Denmark and Norway. But the manufacturer, which markets several electric cars has just announced that it will expand across Europe and many other countries closer to home. And for good reason, the company will soon be sold in the United Kingdom as well as in Germany in 2024, but above all, it will soon be marketed in France as well!

Several models

This information has been officially confirmed by our colleagues from Automotive News and the English site Autocar, while the brand only mentions Germany for the moment. Several cars will therefore be offered to customers, including the P7 sedan as well as the G6 SUV, among others. Their advantage? Their fast charge at a power of 300 kW as well as their generous autonomy. However, the price has not yet been announced for France and it will therefore be necessary to show a little patience for the moment.
