The German manufacturer opens the order book for the new Mercedes E-Class in France: its prices start from €64,750.

This year, Mercedes offers a new generation to its famous E class : the Stuttgart firm has opened orders in France for its new sedan, whose prices start from €64,750.

From the launch on the French market, customers of the new Mercedes E-Class will be able to choose from a wide range of versions: sedan and station wagon, rear-wheel drive or 4Matic all-wheel drive, petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid engines… In total, this will be nine versions which are available from launch, while other versions will follow later.

Mercedes E-Class: full equipment and many options

The standard equipment of the new Mercedes E-Class is well supplied: metallic paint, Keyless-Go system, Distronic active distance control assistant, blind spot assistance, Avantgarde equipment line for interior and exterior, LED headlights with adaptive high beam assistant, 12.3 and 14.4 inch screens, heated front seats, MBUX system, wireless charging base…

Other elements are available as options, such as the Pack Avantgarde Line Advanced Plus (MBUX navigation with augmented reality, 360° camera, Digital Light system), the equipment line Exclusive (vertical Mercedes star on the bonnet, grille with three horizontal slats, chrome decorative elements, interior decorative elements and open-pore wood with aluminum lines), the Pack Exclusive Line Premium (active mood lighting, Burmester 4D audio system, acoustic insulating glazing, Digital Light with adaptive high beam assistant Plus, Keyless-Go Comfort Pack with digital key), or even the Pack Premium Plus Exclusive (Digital Light with projection function and Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, illuminated grille, panoramic sunroof head-up display, MBUX interior assistant, Thermotronic four-zone automatic climate control with Digital Vent Control automatic air vents).

For customers looking for a distinctive style, the AMG exterior line is a must-have, with an AMG front apron, a diffuser-style rear apron, AMG light-alloy wheels, as well as theAMG Line interior with its multifunction sports steering wheel in nappa leather, and its sports seats with integrated head restraints.

The evolution of the Mercedes E-Class goes through the design, without touching the proportions which remain quite classic after all. Even in terms of dimensions, the differences compared to the previous model are minimal, with only 2 cm less in length (4.92 meters), 6 cm more in width (1.91 meters) and a height of 1.47 m (-1cm).

Inside, however, it’s a small revolution compared to the outgoing model with the arrival of the Mercedes Superscreen. The central screen is housed in a single element that extends without interruption to the right-hand door, also incorporating, as an option, a second screen positioned in front of the front passenger.
