In any case, this is the opinion of Elon Musk, who does not mince his words and who deplores a still very average quality.

A salty letter

The businessman indeed had the opportunity to approach the Cybertruck and especially to be able to touch it. And the least we can say is that he was not really delighted with what he discovered. According to him, manufacturing quality is well below his requirements and he did not hesitate to let his employees know by sending them a letter. In the latter, he details the assembly concerns of the pick-up and explains that if some cheap products like the LEGO are made with precision, this should also be the case with the Cybertruck. This has the merit of being very clear!

There should therefore be a few more changes to the vehicle before it is officially launched on American roads, then probably European roads a little later. For the record, the Tesla Cybertruck is available in several versions with one, two or three electric motors, which can reach a range of 800 kilometers in a single charge. All with a 0 to 100 km / h that can be achieved in just 2.9 seconds for the most efficient version.
