Volvo EX90: a new, more accessible range

The range of the 100% electric Volvo EX90 SUV is expanding with the arrival of access finishes, displayed at a more affordable price, from €89,500.

After launching the top-of-the-range EX90 Ultra version as well as the ultimate EX90 Excellence, Volvo completes the range of its large 100% electric SUV Volvo EX90with the arrival of new “Start” and “Plus” finishesmore accessible.

From the first entry-level level, the Volvo EX90 Start has a lot of standard equipment, as well as a battery of advanced safety equipment: intelligent collision anticipation system, driver understanding system, or even occupant detection system. There is also the 14.5-inch touch screen of the Android connected infotainment system, the 8-inch instrument cluster, and a High Performance audio system.

Volvo EX90: new finishes and a new engine

For an additional €5,600, the finish Plus brings lacquered black exterior elements, backlit inlays on board, an electrically adjustable steering wheel, a Bose Premium Sound audio system, a new generation head-up display, and even the CleanZone Advanced air purifier.

A new 279 horsepower “Single” electric motor is also appearing in the range, on the Start and Plus finishes. Associated with a rear transmission (propulsion) and a 104 kWh batteryits autonomy can reach 580 km. This more modest offer comes in addition to the existing all-wheel drive (AWD) engines: Twin (408 horsepower) and Twin Performance (517 horsepower).

A new 6-seater configuration

The Volvo EX90 also offers a new 6-seater configuration, in addition to the 7-seater one, on the Ultra finish, at no additional cost. This arrangement has a second row of 2 seats, instead of 3 seats, which offers more comfort with side reinforcements, an extension of the seat, as well as armrests, while facilitating access to the electrically retractable third row.

These new versions of the Volvo EX90 have already been available for order since September 4, 2023. from 89.500 € for a Start finish equipped with the Single engine of 279 horsepower, and from €99,250 for a Plus version equipped with the Twin engine (all-wheel drive) of 408 horsepower.
