The adventure continues for the “Pole to Pole” expedition, which is currently crossing the world in a Nissan Ariya: now heading to the United States!
Launched on March 30, the expedition « Field to Field » was designed by Nissan to highlight the Ariya e-4orce, its new 100% electric SUV.
The goal is to make him travel more than 27,000 km for 10 months. Chris and Julie Ramsey embarked on this adventure, which will take them across North America, Central America and South America, reaching the most remote place at the end of the year. of the world: the South Pole.
Nissan Ariya: an adventure across North America
This unprecedented expedition began from the magnetic North Pole, in March 2023. After crossing the icy territories of the Arctic and then Canada, Chris and Julie are ready to begin their stage no. 2 in Vancouver, Canada. Here, the climatic conditions are more pleasant, and have allowed them to adopt a gentler driving style.
Nissan Canada took advantage of their visit to organize an event where they were able to share their adventures with other electric vehicle enthusiasts. This stage was also the opportunity to install on the roof of the Ariya a roof tent Thule, allowing more comfortable stops for the night: head to the United States!
The first step was a weekend where they were able to attend a Formula E racinghas Portlandin Oregon: here, the Nissan Formula E team showed them how their technology was transferred from the track to the road, to accelerate the development of the brand’s electric vehicles.
An exceptional expedition
The adventurers then headed towards Los Angeles, Californiathen continued their journey to the majestic San Bernardino Mountains, before heading to the state of Texas. Throughout their journey, they were able to discover breathtaking landscapes, but also extreme temperatures, around 47°C this time.
