To celebrate the production of the 100th copy of the GR Supra GT4, Toyota is launching the GR Supra GT4 100 Edition, a limited series of only three copies.
Toyota Gazoo Racing’s GR Supra GT4 is a customer competition car, celebrating its success in the GT4 class with a new milestone: the production of its 100th example. On this occasion, the Japanese manufacturer is launching the Toyota GR Supra GT4 100 Editiona special series for collectors and track day enthusiasts.
“With the GR Supra GT4 and GR Supra GT4 EVO, we have worked with our customers to develop a racing car that teams around the world can use to succeed. Thanks to the confidence and enthusiasm of our customers, we have reached this milestone of 100 vehicles in just three years, which is very positive.”said Hendrik Schietzel, Manager Customer Racing at Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe: “At the same time, we took advantage of this opportunity to create a very special and rare model. The three examples of the GR Supra GT4 ‘100 Edition’ are intended for collectors and friends of Toyota, who will have the chance to have a lot of fun on the track with this extraordinary vehicle. »
This Toyota GR Supra GT4 100 Edition designed for the track will be produced in a limited edition at only three copies : one for Europe, one for North America and one for Asia, making it one of the rarest Toyota models ever produced.
The Toyota GR Supra GT4 100 Edition is distinguished by its exclusive body color: theOrange Plasma, which is color-matched to the road-legal special edition Toyota GR Supra “GT4 100th Edition Tribute”. The latter will be launched by the end of the year in Europe, and will be limited to 100 copies.
The Toyota GR Supra GT4 100 Edition is not GT4 homologated for competition, and is therefore intended for track use only, during track days for example. It’s based on the 450-hp GR Supra GT4 EVO, which debuted earlier this season.
Compared to the competition GT4 version, the GR Supra GT4 100 Edition features larger bonnet ventilation, as well as new aerodynamic devices at the front to improve downforce. There is also a new exhaust system without silencerhelping to amplify the sound of the turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine, while the Power Stick, which controls engine power, will also be distinguished by its Plasma Orange color matched to the bodywork.
Other details complete its livery, such as exterior mirrors in carbon fiber, LED headlights, as well as a passenger seat. On board, there are 100 Edition embroidered logos on both seats, as well as a unique badge on the dashboard. An interior protective cover will also come with the car, and is also distinguished by the distinctive “100 Edition” logo.
For interested customers, Toyota Gazoo Racing is marketing this GR Supra GT4 100 Edition at price of 220,000 euros excluding taxes, and excluding delivery costs.
