The French manufacturer lifts the veil on the Peugeot e-3008, its new electric SUV coupe which offers up to 700 km of autonomy. Launch planned for early 2024.
After 7 years of career and more than 1.32 million units sold worldwide, the second generation of Peugeot 3008 is preparing to bow out, in favor of a completely revisited third opus which is transformed for the occasion into a coupe SUV: the lion brand has just lifted the veil on the new Peugeot e-3008its 100% electric version.

The model extends over 4.54 meters long, 1.89 meters wide and 1.64 meters high, with imposing and muscular lines: the front features a three-claw lighting signature, and is distinguished by a thin black strip which features two slim LED headlights. Echoing this, the rear lights are also connected by a black strip, and feature a three-claw light signature. We find a roofline that slopes towards the rear, as well as a floating spoiler which improves aerodynamics while offering a sporty look. SUV coupe.
Inside, no surprises: Peugeot had already revealed to us a few months ago the unique interior of this 3008, with its “Panoramic i-Cockpit” which is distinguished by a vast 21-inch curved panoramic panel, bringing together the instrument cluster as well as the touch screen of the connected infotainment system. Located in the center of the dashboard, a small additional touch screen allows you to personalize quick-access “i-Toggles” shortcuts, while storage space is plentiful, with some 34 liters of storage space, and 520 liters of trunk on all versions.
The Peugeot e-3008 is based on the new STLA Medium platform from the Stellantis group, and offers at its launch three 100% electric engines : Autonomie (210 horsepower and 525 km of autonomy), Dual Motor (320 horsepower and 525 km of autonomy), as well as Grande Autonomie (230 horsepower and 700 km of autonomy). The 400 V NMC battery (73 or 98 kWh depending on the version) is compatible with 160 kW ultra-fast charging, which allows 80% capacity to be recovered in 30 minutes.
Of the hybrid and plug-in hybrid engines will also complete the catalog of the new 3008 III when it is launched, as well as a thermal engine, which however seems to be only intended for export. On the technology side, there is a whole arsenal of driving assistance and safety systems, as well as extensive monitoring capabilities. semi-autonomous driving with the Peugeot Drive Assist Plus system.
Like previous generations, this new Peugeot 3008 will be produced in France, in the historic Sochaux factory, in Doubs, and will be marketed in the month of February 2024, at prices which will be announced later. It will also be available in Peugeot 5008a large SUV whose new generation will be revealed early next year.
