This electric SUV could be available at unbeatable prices in France

On the sidelines of the Munich Motor Show, Fisker presented its new small SUV, the Pear, to the European public for the first time. Fisker, which had already caused a sensation with its Ocean SUV, displays overflowing confidence regarding the ramp-up of production of the latter, which allows it to devote itself fully to the finalization of its new model which will be more accessible.

During the summer, the brand shared some images and technical information on the Pear, but it was during the Munich show that the public had the opportunity to see it up close.

Interesting choices for this SUV

Fisker was not an official exhibitor at the event, but, like other manufacturers, it opened a “pop-up store” near the stands, thus taking advantage of the excitement around the show.

From the start of this project, Fisker promised an affordable, family-friendly vehicle. On the family side, the Pear stands out with a series of ingenious features, including the front trunk drawer, the Houdini Trunk (a sliding trunk door behind the rear bumper), and the possibility of choosing between two or three seats in the trunk. ‘Before.

Too little autonomy despite an attractive price?

Regarding the price, Fisker had already announced an attractive base price in the United States, set at $29,900. In Europe, nothing had yet been announced, until the confirmation of prices for the German market. The entry-level model of the Pear will be offered at 32 900 euroswhich suggests a roughly equivalent price in France.

This price is undoubtedly attractive for a crossover measuring 4.55 meters long. However, let us point out that this price concerns the short range version of 320 km according to the WLTP cycle. As was the case with the Ocean, it is very likely that the variant offering a longer range, i.e. 560 km, will be offered at a significantly higher price.
