Dacia: what new features are expected in 2024?

In 2023, the news at Dacia was more linked to the introduction of new variants than to the launch of new new models. All this will change in 2024…

Third brand in France in 2022 behind Peugeot and Renault, Dacia, with 130,855 registrations, has granted itself a market share of 15.46%. Better still, the Sandero was the second best-selling car in France behind the Peugeot 208, with 64,293 units! The formerly low-cost brand of the Renault group strings together performances and is definitely on the rise here and among our European neighbors. Since 2021 and the Renaulution plan, several new products have been released, starting with the Dacia Spring electric and the crossover/break Jogger. Dacia has moved upmarket in a very visible way, with the adoption of a new logo and a new philosophy in 2022.

Dacia Jogger hybrid, Spring 65

This year, Dacia has not introduced a new model per se, but new variants and versions. This is how the brand launched its very first hybrid model, in the person of the Jogger. It develops 140 horsepower and consumes only 4.9 l/100 km. Above all, its very attractive call rate, at 24 900€, in fact the cheapest full hybrid model on the market! Dacia also took care of its mini city car this year, the Spring. She received a new 65 horsepower engine (compared to 45 horsepower previously), and a slightly higher battery capacity. Here is the “new stuff” this year. But what does 2024 have in store for us?

The long-awaited Duster is coming…

The big news for next year is of course the arrival of the all-new Duster! Third of the name, please! This new version will be more athletic and square than the current one, with an even more adventurous look. It will be equipped with black plastic protections, sharp lights and a new full LED light signature. In addition, it will benefit from a technological upgrade, with a fully digital driver screen and infotainment interface. It will maintain a 4X4 all-wheel drive and above all will see the appearance of a hybrid variantundoubtedly in the form of the 140 horsepower 1.6L already present at Renault. Gasoline and bicarburation GPL will still be on the program, but the diesel variant should disappear from the catalog.
