Fuel: Fabien Roussel invites the French to invade gas stations

While the price of fuel is at its highest, communist deputy Fabien Roussel makes a surprising announcement.

It’s no secret that the price of fuel is extremely high. Indeed, there are more and more stations now exceeding the symbolic bar of two euros per liter and the French are finding it ever more difficult to fill their tanks. Unfortunately, the situation is not expected to improve, as oil-producing countries have decided to close the valves and reduce exports around the world. And this while demand is still very high. So obviously, things get stuck and this inevitably causes the prices displayed at the pump to skyrocket.

An astonishing idea

Some elected officials and politicians have spoken out on the subject, asking in particular the government to put in place aid for motorists. Which the latter refuses, arguing that it would cost too much. He then prefers to ask distributors to make efforts instead. But this is difficult to pass, especially after the deputy and national secretary of the Communist Party Fabien Roussel. The latter was recently questioned on the set of France Info and he pulls no punches. In fact, it encourages the French to invade gas stations.

“Self-defense”

For him ” we are attacked, extorted, stolen and we should not say anything (…) yes, we are calling for the invasion of gas stations, supermarkets, prefectures, because the State is responsible“. He goes on to state that “ I can’t stand one anymore President of the Republic who says the State cannot do everything, the State is powerless, the State cannot do“. It remains to be seen whether this call will be followed or not, while the government has not yet reacted to these comments.
