This unique Ferrari motorcycle is for sale

It is customary to say thatonly one Ferrari motorcycle has been created throughout history. This required 3000 hours of work to see the light of day. But lately, a new motorcycle with the brand logo appeared. This is a vehicle used by the Formula 1 brand in the past, and it is currently up for auction.

A motorcycle driven by a world champion

In fact, this motorcycle was used by former F1 world champion Nigel Mansellwho used it to officially move into the paddock with the team. He drove it himself in the pits and had a lot of fun with it. Now, this two-wheeler is on sale, and you will have to pay the price to acquire it.

As a world champion with Ferrari, Mansell had to represent his brand. He then customized his Honda ST70 motorcycle in the colors of the Italian brand, by putting a sticker representing the logo, on the red paint representative of Ferrari. If you look at the photo, you only see fire, right?

A Honda ST70 in Ferrari colors

Although it was an “official” team bike for Ferrari, it was actually a Japanese model, which was sold until 1981.

Its engine was a 72 cm3 single-cylinder, 5 HP of power. Enough to move between the different Formula 1 stands without any problem.

Some rumors claim that this Honda is an improved model acquired by Ferrari for Mansell. Even if it disappeared from the radar in 1991, here it is now put up for sale at RM Sotheby’s auction. The bike is 35 years old and has 1582 km on the odometer (analogue). There is no indication whether it can be driven or not. The starting asking price for this vehicle is between $6,000 and $12,500.
