Porsche Panamera: what we know about the new generation

A few months before its reveal, the future Porsche Panamera reveals some exclusive information to us.

It’s been a while since the current generation of the Porsche Panamera has been marketed by the manufacturer. And for good reason, it saw the light of day in 2016. More than eight years of career for the sports sedan, which is also available as a station wagon as well as several thermal and rechargeable hybrid enginess. If for the moment it does not seem to suffer too much from the passage of years, a small renewal remains necessary to stay in the race. Especially since competition remains very tough at the moment in this segment.

Revelation in November

It is therefore in a few months, and more precisely on November 24, that the new generation of the Porsche Panamera will be officially revealed to the general public. A presentation which will then take place during the Icon of Porsche festival which will take place in Dubai. But the brand already tells us a little more about the sedan, which will obviously evolve its style. The lights are expected to be redesigned, as are the front and rear bumpers, although it’s not clear to what extent at the moment.

New versions

This new version should also offer more comfort and versatility compared to the current one, while it will have a new semi-active chassis delivered as standard. One of the brand’s spokespersons also adds that ” after having already offered three E-Hybrids for the second generation of Panamera, we will add a fourth plug-in hybrid in the new Panamera. This is our response to the huge demand from our customers. In some countries, the proportion of E-Hybrid reached almost 100%« .
