Fuel: this government aid for independent stations!

In order to counter the increase in prices of different fuels in Francethe government is seeking solutions.

The one proposed by Elisabeth Borne, the Prime Minister, is to authorize selling at a loss. If it is possible for large groupsquid des stations independent?

The government will thus pay help at these stations, following of a meeting with the syndicate.

A meeting with the Mobilians union

Discounts of government will not take the same form as last year. In fact, these are not the car drivers who will directly benefit from the aid, but the independent stations.

This decision was taken after long discussions with the Mobilians professional union, this Monday September 18.

This should solve the problem independent stations in the face of government authorization to sell fuel at a loss, which normally prohibits by the law.

The government’s three measures

To help independent stationsthe government will put in place several measurementsas explained in the Mobilians press release.

Initially, there will be a fund compensation for independent stations. This will be able to support them during the 6 months where selling at a loss is permitted.

There will also be a support fund in favor of la transformation and the diversification of service stations. This aid will allow to independent stations to realise an ecological transition.

Finally, there will be a sustainability from the support fund for the installation of charging stations in independent stations. This help exists since 2022 but will continue in the future.
