Japanese researchers have found an innovative solution for recharging electric cars using traffic lights.
Electric cars are gaining popularity, but some drivers still have concerns about their range. However, advancements in technology are addressing these concerns, including a new solution developed by Japanese researchers that could revolutionize the way electric cars are recharged.
There is an exception to the end of the sale of thermal vehicles in 2035 voted by the European Parliament: luxury cars (Ferrari, etc.). Of course, there are few of them, so the emissions will be limited, but for the symbol and social justice, it will be necessary to return pic.twitter.com/6gPS9lc6ZE

The innovative solution involves installing coils under the bitumen where cars stop at red lights. These coils conduct electricity to recharge the cars’ batteries as they wait at the light. This presents a significant opportunity for electric car owners to conveniently and efficiently extend their range during common stops.
The researchers claim that this system can provide an additional range of one kilometer for every 10 seconds of waiting at a traffic light. This innovation holds great potential, particularly in urban environments where frequent stops are common. While still in the testing phase in Japan, the success of this technology could lead to its global development. Similar concepts are already being explored in the form of solar roads internationally.
