With more than 7.6 million copies sold since its launch in 2007, the Volkswagen Tiguan is one of the brand’s bestsellers. The third generation has just been presented, and is now available to order in our regions, at prices starting from €39,450. The first deliveries are expected for the 1st quarter 2024.

The new Tiguan is offered in France with 5 trim levels: Tiguan, Life Plus, Elegance, R-Line, and R-Line Exclusive, the most richly equipped version. Under the hood, we find 3 engines Volkswagen turbocharged engines, all associated with a 7-speed DSG double-clutch gearbox: a 2.0 TDI diesel with 150 horsepower, as well as two mild hybrid gasoline engines, the 1.5 eTSI available in 130 and 150 horsepower.

The entry-level finish « Tiguan » has numerous standard equipment, including 17-inch rims, LED headlights, 10” Digital Cockpit, automatic air conditioning, Keyless Go keyless start, wireless App-Connect with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera, Lane Assist lane keeping assistant, Side Assist blind spot detector, and Front Assist emergency braking assistant .

Finishing « Life Plus » adds the Park Assist parking maneuver assistant, the ACC adaptive and predictive cruise control with speed limiter, a dual induction charger, tri-zone automatic air conditioning, 10-color ambient lighting, or even the Discover Media infotainment system with a 12.9-inch screen.

The version « Elegance » adds as standard 18-inch rims, the Travel Assist semi-autonomous driving assistant, IQ.Light HD Matrix LED headlights with Dynamic Light Assist, Park Assist Pro with remote parking function (via smartphone), Area View perimeter vision system, panoramic sunroof, hands-free opening and closing of the trunk, as well as Keyless Advanced on-board access and keyless starting.

Finishing « R-Line » is based on the “Life Plus” version, and adds an R-Line exterior pack with a specific front and rear bumper, anodized roof rails, 19-inch rims, an R-Line interior pack, the aluminum pedals, sports seats with integrated headrest and fabric and ‘ArtVelours’ upholstery, LED Plus front headlights combined with a light strip at the front and rear, not forgetting the ErgoActive driver’s seat with massage function .

Finally, the version « R-Line Exclusive » adds IQ.Light HD Matrix LED projectors, panoramic sunroof, Travel Assist semi-autonomous driving assistant, Park Assist Pro, Area View perimeter vision system, Harman Kardon premium audio system, front seats electric, heated, ventilated and massaging with memory function, the Discover Pro infotainment system and its 15-inch screen, as well as “Vienna R-Line” leather upholstery.
