This bumper car has no place in a funfair. This is actually a car that can be driven on the road.
For many people, bumper cars are part of childhood memories. The very symbol of funfairs, in which they are rarely absent, they amaze children. And yet, there are individuals who clearly still appreciate these small cars just as much. To the point of reproducing one to drive on the road.
It is the strange project which animated Dan Hryhorcoff for a while. This American, residing in the state of Pennsylvania, decided to make a giant version of a bumper car, on a scale of 200% compared to the models used on rides. The objective being to drive it, it obviously benefited from an engine.
To build this strange bumper car, Dan Hryhorcoff used an old Chevrolet Aveo and a motorcycle. He didn’t really invent the model he put together. He was in fact inspired by the bumper cars produced in 1953 to be used in the parc d’attractions d’Elysburgin Pennsylvania.
These bumper cars are known as Knoebeles. Except that Hryhorcoff’s version is much bigger. His car is in fact four meters long and two meters wide. In short, it is twice as big as the original model! To build his car, he went to the Elysburg amusement park himself, where he stayed for no less than eight hours.

As explained Carscoopsthe giant bumper car works with a Chevrolet Aveo engine. It was moved to the rear of the car to make it a rear-wheel drive vehicle. At the front, he installed only one motorcycle wheel, which made it possible to turn it into a tricycle.
Fully legal, this bumper car can be driving on the road. Moreover, its creator uses it. But today, he would like to tackle an even more crazy project. Given the originality of this first creation, it might be interesting to see what his next car will look like.
