A professional racing driver was caught speeding at over 200 km/h while driving his Porsche 911 GT2 RS. We have all the details for you.
Driving over the speed limit is a common offense on the road. Many of us have been caught driving a little too fast, sometimes without even realizing it. In response, the government is considering not deducting points from the driver’s license for minor speeding violations of less than 5 km/h. However, a fine will still be required. Some drivers, however, clearly exceed the limits and defy the rules of the Highway Code.

This was the case for a professional racing driver who was speeding in the Monaco region, driving his Porsche 911 GT2 RS. He was caught driving at 208 km/h on a portion of the A8 motorway that was normally limited to 110 km/h. He was stopped and arrested by the police.
However, the police discovered that the driver was already banned from driving in France. This further worsened his case. As a result, the police immediately revoked his driving license and impounded his supercar. On the same day, more than five cars were caught speeding at over 168 km/h in the area.
