This taxi holds an incredible record. It has traveled the most kilometers in the world, with 8 million kilometers on the odometer. The Mercedes-Benz W123 limousine has proven to be profitable, demonstrating longevity and exceptional performance. It has been tirelessly traveling the roads near Maspalomas in the Canary Islands, Spain for 35 years and is on the verge of entering automotive legend due to the number of kilometers it has traveled.
Looking at the numbers of this car, it’s truly impressive. Since entering circulation in 1988, it has circled the Earth 175 times and traveled 9 times the distance from the Earth to the Moon. That’s quite an achievement!
According to the owner, the engine was replaced once. At least, that’s what was said on the Spanish channel Telecinco.
This taxi, capable of carrying 7 passengers per trip, has transported more than a million people. And it’s not done yet!
