Tesla Cybertruck: already copied by an American start-up!

A start-up has already copied Tesla’s Cybertruck, even before its release. Meet the Aitekx Robotruck!

At the auto showroom of The Angels, which is ongoing until

Named Robotruck, this model designed by the company Aitekx bears a strong resemblance to another vehicle from California… the Cybertruck, perhaps?

A Cybertruck? No, the Robotruck!

Taking inspiration from Tesla’s Cybertruck, the Robotruck not only imitates its shapes and design, but also borrows part of its name!

It seems that Elon Musk’s futuristic vehicle is already a significant source of inspiration for small businesses seeking attention. A reminder that Tesla’s pickup has not been released yet and its first deliveries are scheduled in the United States only on November 30th.

Although the prototype is not yet on the road, Aitekx assures that its pick-up will be able to reach 100 km/h in under 3.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 200 km/h.

Two versions for this model

Aitekx is considering two configurations for its large pickup. The first being 4,775 mm long, and the second expected to stretch up to 5,029 mm. Configurations with up to 8 seats also seem to be available on the company’s website.

Additionally, the start-up claims an autonomy of 550 miles according to the EPA cycle, equivalent to approximately 850 km. These figures should be taken with caution, as they are not verified.

Another remarkable feature is the start-up’s announcement of an option for “falcon wing doors.”

Already setting prices?

Available for order in the USA, prices are expected to start at $45,000 and go up to $99,000 for the RoboTruck 1T HyperAIX Sports Signature AWD. The company is even accepting the initial reservations for $100, with a commercial launch planned by 2025 in the American market.

Currently, the only prototype at the Los Angeles show seems to be leaving visitors perplexed. The model has “affordable” finishes and a design different from the 3D renderings…
